Engrained Café
Design development, construction documentation, utility coordination and construction administration of the new Engrained Café concept located on the 2nd floor of the Memorial Union. Designs include use of low VOC paint, energy efficient lighting, Energy Star appliances, recycled seat belts as chair strapping, PFC Certified woods and solid surface countertops made with recycled content. The cafe accommodates both student meals during school hours as well as services the public for evening dining.

* Engrained Café received the 2009 Environmental Excellence Merit Award for Historic Preservation by Valley Forward.
